Bio
Fernanda Trevellin is an interdisciplinary artist working across sculpture, installation and participatory environments.
Since 2009, her practice has investigated circulation systems, material processes and the relationship between body, space and natural elements. Over time, this research has evolved into works engaging water, light and crystals as active sculptural agents.
She completed her MA at the Universität der Künste Berlin, within the Institut für Raumexperiment, under the guidance of Olafur Eliasson.
Her recent work develops through the NOVA* water works, a body of installations and objects that operate across institutional, spatial and individual scales.
She is currently based between São Paulo and Berlin.

Current projects
NOVAWATER*Club - www.novawater.club
Installation of the NOVA*DrinkingWaterFountain&Crystals in public spaces, educational institutions, and public and private collections. Funds are reverted directly to cultural and educational projects dedicated to the knowledge and protection of water.
As an evolving platform, NOVAWATER*Club currently develops research mapping the springs and groundwater systems of São Paulo, while building a network connecting researchers, environmental and social initiatives, cultural institutions, and public actors. By facilitating the exchange of knowledge and collaboration across these fields, the platform seeks to strengthen collective awareness and action towards the recognition, revaluation, and protection of water resources.
